Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Accounts Executive to support the finance operations of a diversified group of companies. This role will be responsible for managing both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions across multiple entities within the Group.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, organised, analytical, and capable of leveraging automation workflows and AI-driven tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity within the finance function. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced multi-company environment while maintaining strong financial controls, discipline, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Issue invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and statements accurately and timely across multiple Group entities.
- Monitor collections and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Prepare AR ageing reports and provide collection updates to management.
- Coordinate with sales and operations teams on customer billing matters.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of AR-related records.
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Process supplier invoices and payments accurately and within deadlines across various Group entities.
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies when required.
- Prepare payment schedules and support Group cash flow planning.
- Ensure compliance with approval workflows, internal controls, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and supporting documentation.
Automation & AI-Driven Finance Operations
- Manage and improve finance automation workflows for invoicing, payment processing, approvals, and reconciliations.
- Utilize AI tools and digital platforms to enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual work, and improve reporting accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and workflow optimisation within finance operations.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems, OCR tools, e-invoicing solutions, and workflow automation platforms.
- Drive digitalisation initiatives and continuous improvement within the finance function.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in handling both AR and AP functions, preferably within a group of companies environment.
- Familiar with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Experience with automation tools, digital workflows, or AI-assisted finance tools will be an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cloud-based accounting platforms.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, intercompany transactions, and financial processes.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
