The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

About the Team:
As part of this role, you will drive initiatives aimed at fostering growth and expansion while aligning with the organization's strategic priorities. Your role will encompass:
Job Description:
  • Leveraging data and analytics to inform decision-making and optimise outcomes across retail and fulfilment initiatives.
  • Project Management Office (PMO) activities for the rollout of strategic initiatives within the retail and fulfilment sphere.
  • Identifying potential growth opportunities for Shopee through retail and fulfilment initiatives.
  • Identifying and overcoming challenges through comprehensive investigation, analysis, and solution design, while continually monitoring and reporting on key issues affecting retail and fulfillment efforts.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to lead and execute projects that support key business objectives.
  • Engaging with senior leadership to drive forward key growth initiatives within the retail and fulfilment ecosystem.
  • Taking full ownership of project resources, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring the successful execution of retail and fulfilment initiatives and their alignment with broader business goals.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree is required
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, organize, and execute projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting techniques would be advantageous.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to execution.
