We're Hiring: Senior Database Administrator!

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Database Administrator to manage and optimize our database systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in database management, performance tuning, and security protocols to ensure data integrity and availability across our organization.

Role: Senior Database Administrator

• Manage, maintain, and support enterprise database systems across production, test, and development environments
• Administer database platforms including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other relevant technologies
• Monitor database health, performance, storage utilization, availability, and capacity
• Perform database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and migration activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve database incidents, outages, and performance-related issues
• Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data protection and business continuity
• Optimize SQL queries, indexing strategies, and overall database performance
• Ensure database security, access controls, encryption, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements
• Support high availability configurations including clustering, replication, failover, and standby environments
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and project teams to support deployments, integrations, and release activities
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior database administrators and project teams
• Participate in 24/7 standby support, incident response, and problem management activities as required
  
  

• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration
• Experience managing enterprise database platforms such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent technologies
• Good understanding of database performance tuning, SQL optimization, and indexing strategies
• Experience in database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
• Knowledge of high availability technologies including clustering, replication, failover, and standby systems
• Experience troubleshooting database incidents and performance issues in enterprise environments
• Familiarity with database security, encryption, access management, and compliance practices
• Ability to support database deployments, upgrades, and migration activities
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 standby and on-call support activities
