Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cambridge Computing Teacher to join our growing academic team. The successful candidate will inspire students through engaging lessons in Computing and Computer Science while contributing positively to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Computing and Computer Science lessons aligned with the Cambridge Curriculum for:
• Middle School (Years 7–9)
• IGCSE
• A-Level
• Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments, and teaching resources.
• Serve as a Homeroom Teacher, providing pastoral care and guidance to Middle and High School students.
• Support student development through ECAs/CCAs and after-school activities from 3:30 PM onwards.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, interdisciplinary projects, and school initiatives.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Principal and school management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field from a recognized university.
• Registered teaching qualification such as QTS, PGCE, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching:
• Cambridge Lower Secondary Computing
• Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science
• Cambridge International A-Level Computer Science
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
• Passion for education and commitment to student growth and achievement.
