Role Description

This is an on-site contract position located in Petaling Jaya for a Business Development Manager. The Manager will work closely with the Group CEO and CFO accompanying them to attend meetings with external parties, and will be tasked with follow through work towards achieving closure. The individual will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and developing strong partnerships. Additional duties include supporting negotiations, analyzing market trends, preparing business proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to meet organizational goals including finalisation of necessary documentation.


Qualifications

  • Expertise in business planning, negotiation, and strategic deal execution
  • Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and identifying industry trends
  • Strong relationship-building skills to drive client engagement and partnerships
  • Ability to analyze and prepare business proposals, presentations, and reports
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record of meeting targets and delivering measurable results
  • A bachelor's degree in any technical field
  • 10-15 years work experience; some of which in a similar role (e.g. Special Officer to C-Suite, Chairman’s Office)
  • Formative years in a medium to large organisation with structured career development
  • Experience in the hospitality or property industry is an advantage
