INTERNSHIP STUDENT – ACCOUNT DEPARTMENT

Department: Account & Finance
Position: Internship Student – Account Department
Location: Landmark Building, Klang, Selangor
Industry: Logistics & Forwarding Company
Reporting To: Account Executive / Finance Manager

Job Summary

The internship student will assist the Account Department in daily accounting and administrative tasks while gaining practical working experience in finance and accounting operations within the logistics and forwarding industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in filing and organizing accounting and shipping documents. 
• Assist in data entry for invoices, supplier bills, and payment records. 
• Support preparation of invoices, payment vouchers, and debit/credit notes. 
• Assist in updating customer and supplier payment records. 
• Help monitor outstanding payments and collection status. 
• Assist in bank reconciliation and petty cash management. 
• Support the finance team in monthly closing and reporting activities. 
• Assist in handling forwarding-related documentation and operational records. 
• Perform general administrative duties assigned by the department. 
• Maintain proper confidentiality of company financial information and records.
