ITEngineer (Drone Manufacturing Company)
Job Overview
We are seeking a practical and hands-on Cyber SecurityManager to support and manage the company’s cybersecurity and IT securityoperations within a drone manufacturing environment. The role will focus onmaintaining secure day-to-day IT operations, protecting company systems andengineering data, implementing basic cybersecurity measures, and supportingoverall information security practices.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding ofcybersecurity fundamentals, network security, and IT infrastructure, with theability to independently manage operational cybersecurity matters in a small tomid-sized company environment.
Key Responsibilities
Cybersecurity & IT Security
- Maintain and monitor cybersecurity systems including antivirus, endpoint protection, firewalls, VPN access, and email security systems.
- Monitor company networks and systems for suspicious activities, security risks, and unauthorized access.
- Perform regular system updates, security patching, password management, and user access control administration.
- Support implementation of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices across the company.
- Assist in conducting basic vulnerability checks and coordinate remediation of identified issues.
- Ensure company data, engineering files, and confidential information are securely stored and protected.
Incident Response & Compliance
- Assist in investigating and responding to cybersecurity incidents, malware infections, phishing attempts, or security breaches.
- Maintain cybersecurity logs, asset inventories, and security-related documentation.
- Support backup management and basic disaster recovery procedures.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with internal IT security requirements and operational procedures.
User Support & Awareness
- Provide basic cybersecurity guidance and support to employees on safe IT practices.
- Conduct cybersecurity awareness briefings and help enforce IT usage policies.
- Work closely with the IT team, engineering, and operations departments to address security-related concerns.
Vendor & System Coordination
- Coordinate with external IT vendors or cybersecurity service providers when required.
- Support setup and maintenance of secure systems for office and manufacturing operations.
Mandatory Requirements
Educational Background
- Diploma or Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Mandatory Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or IT infrastructure support.
- Experience with basic cybersecurity tools such as firewalls, antivirus systems, VPNs, endpoint protection, and access management.
- Familiarity with Windows-based IT environments, networking, and system administration.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity risks, incident response, and security best practices.
- Due to security risks, only Singaporean Citizens may apply and high security clearance will be required.
