 Job Summary:

We have an opportunity for a Scrum Master to join, this will start as a 1-year fixed term contract.

(This is purely a Scrum Master role, not a Project Manager or Engineer)

Job Description:

• Understand business process and define the business requirements in the form of use cases / user stories.
• Design IT solutions together with relevant IT teams that will meet business requirements and timeline.
• Deliver IT solutions in accordance with relevant IT policies and procedures.
• Provide and share knowledge to other team members.

Who we are looking for:

• Energetic, creative, self-motivated, and empathetic.
• Preferable 3-4+ years’ experience in Agile methodology.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to both serve the team and lead when the team requires more direction.
• Solid understanding of the Agile principles and behaviours, and able to provide coaching to the team on Agile and Scrum.
• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and understand how that improvement might be made.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, product owners, business analysts, and all leadership levels of the business.
• Able to build and sustain long-term relationships with partners and colleagues - outstanding relationship-building and influencing skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proven ability to handle complex issues and relationships.

Working Experience

• At least 4 years in delivering Full Stack IT applications.
• Experience in Agile software development. (Ideally technology focused on, Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and React.JS).
• Proven experience with all stages in SDLC and production lifecycle of large API based systems.
• Experience in a software industry role (engineer, designer, QA, etc).
• Scrum Master Certification.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree Minimum.
