OpenText ECM Consultant / Senior ECM DeveloperAbout the Role

We are looking for an experienced OpenText ECM Consultant / Senior ECM Developer to join our team in delivering enterprise-scale OpenText ECM and xECM solutions across multiple industries, with strong exposure to Oil & Gas projects preferred.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting OpenText ECM solutions while working closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and validate business and technical requirements related to Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions.
• Design and develop OpenText ECM and xECM solutions across multiple business domains and technologies.
• Translate business requirements into functional designs, technical specifications, and scalable ECM solutions.
• Lead and participate in solution architecture discussions, implementation planning, and deployment activities.
• Configure and customize OpenText Content Server modules and integrations.
• Conduct workshops with business users to map processes, identify gaps, and recommend ECM improvements.
• Develop and support integrations using REST, SOAP, WSDL, and Web Services technologies.
• Perform unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and production support issues post-deployment.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to support project planning, effort estimation, issue resolution, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure delivery quality and adherence to enterprise standards, security, and governance requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in OpenText ECM product suite implementation and support on medium to large-scale projects.
• Strong experience with OpenText ECM products including:
• OpenText Content Server
• OpenText xECM
• SAP Archiving
• SharePoint AGA
• Strong technical knowledge in:
• JavaScript
• SOAP
• REST APIs
• WSDL
• Web Services
• Core Java
• C#
• CSS
• Strong database knowledge including:
• SQL
• Triggers
• Stored Procedures
• Experience working with databases such as:
• MS SQL Server
• Oracle
• DB2
• MySQL
• Exposure to:
• Infrastructure sizing
• High Availability (HA)
• Disaster Recovery (DR)

OpenText Module Experience

Hands-on experience configuring at least 3 or more of the following OpenText Content Server modules:

• Records Management
• Classifications / RM Classifications
• Workflows / Advanced Workflows
• LiveReports / Web Reports
• Forms
• Physical Objects
