Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Build Engineer located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Build Engineer will be responsible for overseeing release engineering, maintaining software configurations, managing continuous integration systems, implementing best practices for release management, and ensuring efficient configuration management processes. The role requires a strong focus on ensuring streamlined and reliable build and release procedures while working closely with development and operations teams to achieve organizational goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years (L2 level) experience in infrastructure or system engineering roles.
• Strong working knowledge of VMware and RHEL platforms.
• Hands-on experience in server infrastructure and exposure to network, backup, or database domains.

·       Strong knowledge of Unix shell scripting with Oracle and MySQL databases.

• Experience in Windows and Linux operating systems.

Good to have :-

• Exposure to automation or scripting for infrastructure tasks.
• Certifications in VMware, Red Hat, or Project Management are advantageous.
