Responsibilities

Job Description:
  • Perform build, configuration, and administration of VMware and RHEL environments
  • Support infrastructure delivery and implementation across server, network, backup, and database components
  • Coordinate infrastructure activities across teams during project execution
  • Administer and manage Linux and Unix servers
  • Troubleshoot and maintain Unix/Linux-based applications hosted on servers
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for Oracle/MySQL databases
  • Ensure alignment with build standards, OS versions, and enterprise guidelines
  • Support incident troubleshooting and infrastructure issue resolution
  • Track project progress, risks, and dependencies with stakeholders
  • Maintain documentation for builds, configurations, and operational processes
  • Support system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployment and environment readiness
  • Drive automation and process improvement initiatives
  • Assist in monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery activities
  • Participate in on-call support rotation when required
  • Contribute to infrastructure planning and IT strategy initiatives

Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure or system engineering roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with VMware and RHEL
  • Experience in server infrastructure with exposure to network, backup, or database domains
  • Strong knowledge of Unix shell scripting
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle and MySQL databases
  • Experience supporting Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience in infrastructure build, deployment, and troubleshooting
  • Exposure to automation or scripting for infrastructure tasks is an added advantage
  • VMware, Red Hat, or Project Management certifications are advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills
