We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Test & Debug Technicians to support our EMS production environment. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating test equipment, as well as diagnosing and troubleshooting electronic product failures down to component level. You will play a key role in improving test processes, resolving technical issues, and supporting continuous improvement in manufacturing efficiency.

Test Technician

Key Responsibilities:

· Set up, operate, and maintain production test equipment (ICT, FCT, burn-in testers)

· Ensure all testers are properly configured according to product specifications

· Perform routine checks, calibration, and preventive maintenance on test systems

· Load and verify correct test programs before production runs

· Monitor tester performance and respond quickly to equipment faults or alarms

· Troubleshoot tester-related issues and coordinate with engineering for resolution

· Perform tester changeovers and conversions for different product models

· Maintain proper documentation for tester logs, downtime, and maintenance records

Debug Technician:

Key Responsibilities:

· Diagnose failed PCBAs using test results, schematics, and debug tools to identify root causes.

· Perform component-level troubleshooting and rework (e.g., replacing ICs, capacitors, resistors, connectors).

· Use diagnostic equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, etc.) to perform fault isolation.

· Control and clear debug WIP to achieve set target.

· Work with production, test, and quality assurance teams to improve product reliability.

· Develops and maintains Debug Guide to troubleshoot PCBA.

Qualification & Skills:

· Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related technical field.

· 1–3 years of hands-on experience in PCBA debugging ,and repair and handle testers (fresh graduates with strong technical skills may be considered for junior roles).

· Strong knowledge of analogue/digital circuits and electronic components.

· Proficient in component-level fault isolation and soldering/rework (SMT and through-hole).

· Ability to use various test and measurement instruments.

· Hands-on experience with electronic test systems in EMS environment

· Basic understanding of hardware interfaces, fixtures, and test jigs

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
