Responsibilities

Role Overview

The HR Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process to attract, source, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates. This role plays a critical part in building strong talent pipelines, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and supporting the organization’s overall hiring strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and define job requirements.
  • Develop and post job descriptions on job boards, social media, and company career sites.
  • Source candidates using databases, professional networks, referrals, and headhunting techniques.
  • Screen resumes and applications, shortlist candidates, and conduct initial interviews.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Administer pre-employment assessments where required.
  • Maintain candidate databases and track recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire).
  • Ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Negotiate job offers and collaborate with HR on onboarding activities.
  • Stay updated with recruitment trends, labour market conditions, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a recruiter, HR officer, or talent acquisition specialist.
  • Familiarity with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of labour laws and recruitment best practices.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
