Full Time Meat - Seafood, Specialist Jobs, Salary up to MYR 1,800 in Segi Cash & Carry Sdn. Bhd. Perak - Maukerja

Job Summary:

The Meat & Seafood Specialist is responsible for handling, preparing, and maintaining high-quality meat and seafood products to meet Segi Fresh’s standards. This role ensures freshness, food safety, attractive display, and excellent customer service while supporting daily store operations.

Allowance:

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle, cut, trim, portion, and prepare meat and seafood products according to company standards
• Ensure freshness, quality, and proper storage of all meat and seafood item
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work areas, tools, and equipment at all times
• Follow food safety, HACCP, and hygiene regulations strictly
• Display meat and seafood products attractively to maximize sales
• Monitor stock levels, check expiry dates, and reduce waste
• Assist customers with product knowledge, recommendations, and special requests
• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming meat and seafood deliveries
• Support inventory control and stock rotation (FIFO)
• Work closely with the store team to achieve sales and operational targets
• Carry out any other duties and tasks assigned by the superior or management from time to time

Requirements:

• No prior experience required; training will be provided
• Candidates with experience in meat or seafood handling will have an added advantage
• Willingness to learn meat and seafood handling, cutting, and preparation skills
• Able to work in a cold environment and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong sense of hygiene, cleanliness, and responsibility
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Customer-focused attitude
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
