About the Company

A fast-growing digital financial services organization is seeking a seasoned Technology Audit professional to strengthen governance, risk management, and internal control practices across its technology environment. The organization values transparency, accountability, and innovation while maintaining strong regulatory and security standards.


Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, this role will lead technology audit initiatives across IT and cybersecurity functions. The successful candidate will oversee audit engagements, provide strategic guidance to the audit team, and support the organization in managing technology and information security risks effectively.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute end-to-end technology audit engagements in partnership with IT and Cybersecurity stakeholders.
  • Support the development and execution of risk-based internal audit plans and audit scopes.
  • Review and oversee audit activities to ensure compliance with internal methodologies and regulatory expectations.
  • Ensure timely delivery of audits covering technology operations, cybersecurity, systems, and digital platforms.
  • Identify emerging technology, cyber, and operational risks, and communicate key findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Build strong working relationships across business and technology teams to enhance governance and internal controls.
  • Provide advisory support for special projects, transformation initiatives, and risk-related matters where required.


Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline. Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CISSP, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in technology audit, IT risk, or cybersecurity audit within financial services or professional consulting environments.
  • Prior experience leading audit engagements and mentoring junior team members.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and technology risk frameworks within the financial services industry.
  • Experience auditing cloud-based environments, modern web applications, and digital platforms is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and report-writing capabilities.
  • Exposure to data analytics and visualization tools such as ACL, IDEA, Power BI, or Tableau is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with emerging technology risks including AI, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity trends.
