Full Time Manager, Finance - Investment Jobs, in Sime Darby Property Selangor - Maukerja

Job Purpose

• Support debt structuring, fund raising and project management activities by the division relating to real estate-centric financing initiatives, including engagement with banks and investors for loan, sukuk and bond transactions.
• Support evaluation and execution investment and divestment activities of the investment team.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the structuring, evaluation and execution of debt funding activities/strategies for projects, including bilateral and syndicated loans, sukuk and bond issuances.
• Support/manage special projects such as establishment and implementation of debt funding platforms.
• Work closely with internal (finance, legal, property development, corporate planning, etc.) and external stakeholders (financial institutions, investors, customers, other advisers, etc.) in relation to fund-raising exercises, debt-related transactions and investments/divestment, where required.
• Coordinate and manage workstreams for projects, including due diligence, financial analysis, information packs, internal approvals, transaction documentation and closing processes.
• Preparation of approval memos and papers for proposals, including market research, deal structuring, business case analysis, financial analysis, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessment.
• Monitoring of market trends and risks.
• Responsible for building and/or reviewing financial models and financial analysis.
• Support the investment team in the evaluation and execution of investments and divestments, where required.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 4-7 years of relevant experience in leverage finance, debt capital markets, project finance, structured finance and/or advisory roles, preferably with exposure to real estate financing, loan/sukuk/bond fund raising or related advisory work.
• Ideal candidate should be good at financial modelling, familiar with financing documentation and has good stakeholder management
