Job Description

Reporting to a Principal Consultant, the Senior Consultant will oversee and manage ESC’s Environmental and Environmental Monitoring and Management Plan (EMMP) business area in Singapore. This key role involves mentoring a diverse team of consultants in delivering Environmental and EMMP works for industrial and infrastructure projects across Singapore. In addition to managing our growing existing client base, you will also play a key role in driving efficiency in the Environmental and EMMP business through automation, undertaking liaison with authorities and ensuring quality deliverables. This role requires a blend of client and authority management as well as hands-on project delivery, with the ultimate goal of cultivating a profitable and growing business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support business development to win new Environmental and EMMP projects for ESC.
  • Representing ESC as the main point of contact for Environmental and EMMP contracts.
  • Developing efficiency in delivering Environmental and EMMP works e.g. automation, AI etc.
  • Leading project teams to provide services/ solutions to complex technical problems and overseeing client management.
  • Manage and mentoring the professional development of ESC’s EMMP Team, implementing formal quality assurance processes and assist staff appraisals.


Job Requirements

  • The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years’ experience in a local and/or International consultancy. This role will require you undertaking EMMP projects in Singapore.
  • Ideally, you will have significant relevant experience in EMMP to Singapore government standards, environmental baseline studies, pollution control, and other related technical disciplines. Having a good understanding of infrastructure landscape in Singapore is an advantage.
  • Candidates with relevant NParks Certificate such as those under the Animal Management Certification Programme, experience in biodiversity surveys and/or contractor management will be advantageous.
  • The role will be based in ESC's Singapore office Singapore
