Available Position: Business & Marketing Communications Intern
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our team across data management, CRM systems, proposal preparation, and social media-related activities. This role offers hands-on exposure to real business operations and the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities includes:
Data Collection & Management
- Collect, organize, and maintain data from various sources
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency for reporting and analysis
CRM System
- Update and maintain records in the CRM system
- Assist in tracking leads, contacts, and ongoing activities
- Generate basic reports and insights when required
Proposal & Business
- Assist in preparing and formatting proposals and presentations
- Support the team with research and content coordination for proposals
- Provide coordination and administrative support for business development activities
Operations & Event
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of meetings, events, and programmes
- Support operational and logistical arrangements for internal and external activities
- Coordinate with vendors, partners, and stakeholders when required
- Assist with event registration, attendee coordination, and post-event follow-ups
Social Media & Digital Interest
- Demonstrate a strong interest in social media platforms and digital trends
- Support social media-related tasks such as content coordination, basic analytics, or campaign assistance
Other areas:
- Provide general administrative, ad-hoc and operational support as needed
- Assist team members with day-to-day tasks and special projects
- Contribute ideas, support, and participate in CAPA’s events and programmes
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive
The successful candidate should possess the following attributes and capabilities:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Basic understanding of data handling and documentation
- Familiarity with CRM systems (or willingness to learn)
- Strong interest in social media and digital marketing
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks
- Ability to multitask and manage timelines effectively
- The role is based in KL Sentral and candidates must be able to commute to the office.
