Experienced Senior Project Manager with over 10 years of expertise in financial systems, data warehousing, and enterprise technology delivery within the finance and insurance sectors. Proven track record in leading large-scale data initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and driving business transformation through data integration, governance, and analytics platforms. Skilled in project delivery, stakeholder management, regulatory compliance, and operational support across regional environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Financial Data Warehouse initiatives, Data Marts, and related enterprise data platforms.
  • Oversee business-as-usual (BAU) support and continuous enhancement for finance and data management applications across regional operations.
  • Align project execution with overall IT and business strategies.
  • Conduct workshops and stakeholder discussions to translate business requirements into technical and operational deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards, regulatory requirements, risk controls, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with business users, technology teams, and external vendors to support successful project implementation and delivery.
  • Manage issue resolution, defect tracking, and enhancement requests across multiple stakeholders and systems.
  • Drive post-implementation improvements, operational efficiency, and user satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor teams including Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Data Specialists to achieve delivery objectives and governance standards.
  • Support organizational change initiatives while promoting strong collaboration, accountability, and performance culture.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices related to finance and data systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent tertiary qualification.
  • 10+ years of project management or technology delivery experience within the finance or insurance industry.
  • Strong experience in Data Warehousing, Big Data platforms, data integration, transformation, and governance.
  • Hands-on knowledge of enterprise data ingestion frameworks and multi-source system integration.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Python, Scala, and database technologies.
  • Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data models, stored procedures, indexing, normalization, constraints, and database security.
  • Experience managing complex projects involving finance reporting and enterprise data platforms.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, insurance reporting, compliance, and risk management processes is advantageous.
  • Professional certifications in Project Management, Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or related fields are an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, planning, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining accuracy and delivery timelines.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of leading teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and enterprise governance frameworks.
