Responsibilities

We're Hiring: Assembly Technician!

We are looking for a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in assembly operations, demonstrating attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet quality standards and are assembled efficiently.

Role: Assembly Technician

Key Responsibilities Assembly & Production Coordination
  • Assemble various racking systems, including EzRack, Smart Rack, Wall Mount Casings, and related products with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate closely with the Assembly Leader to ensure smooth production flow and fulfillment of rack line requirements.

Warehouse, Logistics & Inventory Management
  • Receive and inspect incoming goods to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by verifying quantities and ensuring secure packaging using pallets or wooden cases where required.
  • Act as the designated picker for Legrand and third-party products and prepare pick lists for rack assembly items.
  • Manage stock-in and stock-out processes for MPL & MFG, including all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Support quarterly and year-end stock take and inventory count activities.

Material Handling & Administration
  • Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, and transfer materials between storage and assembly areas.
  • Prepare Debit Orders for external powder coating processes (Two M Powder Coat).
  • Perform additional ad-hoc duties assigned by management when required.

Job Requirements & Criteria Availability
  • Candidates who are able to join immediately will be given priority.

Experience
  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with rack assembly systems such as EzRack, Smart Rack, and Wall Mount Casings.
  • Skilled in handling mechanical tools and assembly equipment.

Logistics & Inventory Knowledge
  • Basic understanding of stock-in/out procedures and inventory management processes.

Certifications
  • Ability to operate a forklift is preferred; a valid forklift license is an added advantage.

Physical & Personal Attributes
  • Physically fit and capable of handling manual labor and heavy-duty tasks.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and coordination skills.

Education
    • Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
