The organization has consistently delivered double-digit year-on-year growth (12–18% CAGR over the past five years), driven by a combination of strong organic expansion and a disciplined M&A strategy. With Malaysia identified as a key growth engine, the business is now entering a critical post-acquisition transformation phase to integrate, scale, and future-proof its regional platform.

The Mandate
1. Strategic Leadership & Regional Value Creation
- Serve as a core member of the regional leadership team, acting as a strategic advisor to the CEO and global executives
- Shape and drive long-term growth strategy, capital allocation, and value creation agenda across ASEAN
- Translate corporate strategy into clear financial and operational roadmaps, aligned with regional market dynamics
- Champion a data-driven, performance-oriented culture, elevating the role of finance as a true business partner
2. Transformation & Change Leadership
- Lead a region-wide transformation agenda, including operating model redesign, finance modernization, and process harmonization
- Act as a decisive change agent — driving speed, accountability, and execution discipline across markets
- Build scalable structures to support rapid growth, post-acquisition integration, and future expansion
- Navigate ambiguity and complexity with confidence, bringing clarity and alignment across diverse stakeholders
3. M&A, Integration & Synergy Realisation
- Play a lead role in the full M&A lifecycle — from evaluating opportunities and due diligence to deal execution
- Drive post-merger integration (PMI) across multiple ASEAN markets, ensuring seamless consolidation of operations and financials
- Establish rigorous frameworks to track, measure, and deliver synergy targets and ROI
- Partner closely with global teams to ensure alignment with broader corporate M&A strategy
4. Regional Consolidation & Governance
- Oversee financial consolidation across a complex, multi-entity ASEAN structure, ensuring consistency with global standards
- Strengthen financial governance, controls, and compliance frameworks, particularly in a transforming environment
- Ensure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of reporting, supporting both internal and external stakeholders
- Manage risk proactively, balancing growth ambitions with prudent financial stewardship
5. Stakeholder Influence & Executive Presence
- Engage and influence senior global and regional stakeholders, including Board-level and C-suite leaders
- Communicate complex financial insights with clarity, conviction, and commercial relevance
- Act as a credible and trusted partner, capable of challenging constructively while maintaining alignment
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships to ensure effective execution of strategic priorities
6. Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead and develop a high-performing regional finance organization, spanning FP&A, controllership, treasury, and business partnering
- Elevate finance capabilities to support a more forward-looking, insight-driven function
- Instill a culture of accountability, agility, and continuous improvement
- Attract, retain, and develop future finance leaders within the region
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven track record as a Regional CFO / Group CFO / Senior Finance Leader within a complex multinational environment
- Demonstrated success in driving large-scale transformation and operating model evolution
- Strong experience in M&A and post-acquisition integration, with tangible value creation outcomes
- Deep understanding of ASEAN markets, including experience managing multi-country operations
- Highly commercial, with strong P&L ownership and business partnering capabilities
- A confident and articulate communicator, with the presence to influence at the most senior levels
- A natural change leader — resilient, decisive, and willing to challenge the status quo to deliver results
- Combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, able to operate effectively in both boardroom and operational settings
