Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation industry.
- Fresh graduates with strong interest in logistics sales may also be considered.
- Knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and customs regulations is an advantage.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel for client visits.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for freight forwarding and logistics services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, shippers, and business partners.
- Promote air freight, sea freight, land transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance services.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and service presentations for clients.
- Follow up on sales leads, inquiries, and customer requirements promptly.
- Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment handling.
- Negotiate rates and service agreements with customers.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the company.
- Maintain accurate sales records and prepare sales reports.
