Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to support daily kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of kitchen equipment and work areas. The successful candidate will play an essential role in ensuring smooth and efficient food service operations.
Key Responsibilities
Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with hygiene standards
Ensure adequate supply of clean dishes and utensils during peak service periods
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, kitchen floors, and waste disposal areas
Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and support tasks as required
Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations
Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Report any equipment malfunction or maintenance issues to the Supervisor or Manager
Carry out ad hoc duties as assigned by Management from time to time
Requirements
Previous experience in a dishwashing or stewarding role is an advantage but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks
Strong sense of cleanliness, hygiene, and attention to detail
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
