The appointee will be part of the team that provides support, maintenance and enhancements for the Student Administration System (Peoplesoft Campus Solution). The candidate should possess software development skills, project management capabilities, strong passion for software design and implementation.

Responsibilities: -

  • Provide system administration, technical and operational support for the system.
  • Monitor the system and ensure service availability.
  • Provide maintenance for the system, covering the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities for change requests.
  • Lead/participate in assigned project, covering the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities for new initiatives and requirements.
  • Create and maintain system and technical documentations.
  • Provide technical assistance to new members where applicable.

Requirements: -

  • Proficient in systems analysis, application design and development.
  • Preferably with experience in user support, application maintenance and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Candidates without working experience are also welcome to apply.
  • Candidates who possess experience in Peoplesoft development platform (PeopleTools, SQR, SQL, HTML, XML Publisher, and Application Engine) would have an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and programming skills.
  • Self-driven, independent and possess readiness to work as a team.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritisation of work targets.
  • People-oriented individual with good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in Computer Science or its related disciplines.

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
