Job Summary:

Supports dentists and dental hygienists in providing efficient and high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, sterilizing instruments and managing patient records. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, compassionate and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

A) Clinical Duties

B) Administrative Duties:

• Schedule patient appointments and manage recall systems.
• Handle front desk tasks, such as greeting patients, answering phones and processing payments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records.

C) Infection Control & Safety:

• Follow clinic guidelines for infection control.
• Ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and stored.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualification & Skills:

• Education: SPM preferred. Dental student preferred for intern position.
• Experience: Prior experience in a dental clinic is advantageous but not necessary. We provide training for new staff.
• Soft Skills: Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Conditions:

May require standing for long periods. Exposure to chemicals, radiation (minimal, with safety protocols) and infectious materials. Interaction with patients of all ages, including children and elderly individuals.

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
