Architectural Assistant - This is a role directly responsible to the Registered Architect, and / or an Associate/ Senior Architect, the role of an Architectural Assistant.
Applicant Expectations:
- Demonstrated skill in reading & producing Architectural Drawings
- Own transport, able to travel independently a plus
- Produce 3D Perspectives for an Architectural Proposal
- Demonstrate track record experience in architectural projects
- Prior experience is required for this role.
The Architectural Assistant is expected to promote and exemplify RDG Architectural Consultancy Practice values; Competency, Chemistry, Integrity and Contribution.
- You will undertake design, specification and project management of building projects independently with minimum supervision . You will be expected to be collaborative, and accountable to work within multidisciplinary design teams on projects from initial concept through detailed design, tender and delivery on site, supporting timely delivery of projects, within budget and to measurable quality expectations.
- You will proactively collaborate with other members of the RDG team and with external design disciplines, working within well-defined objectives and applying your knowledge of improvements in technology, legislation or improved efficiencies to support effective delivery. You will be expected to deliver:
- Design and Technical Support: You will assist the design team leader & other team members to draft, manage and coordinate all Architectural Design (2D & 3D Drawing) activities as required to office standards are met and defined project objectives are achieved.
- Support in Design Compliance: Supporting the designand specification of building projects in accordance withcurrent guidelines, building standards and regulations.
- Support in Project Management: Support the project lead in co-ordinating and leading the site/client meetings of multidisciplinary design teams and colleagues, helping to ensure that they are delivered within time and budget to the quality expectations of RDG and our clients.
- Professional Conduct: Proactively take feedback, in engaging with all stakeholders/members to provide a high standard of service within commercial constraints.
- Work Ethics & Contribution: Demonstrate commitment to RDG & our clients. This require accountability / clear communication during your tasks, & contribution to discussions related specifically to Architectural and related issues.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
