Full Time Project Engineer Jobs, Salary up to MYR 6,000 in IO Setia Ventures Terengganu - Maukerja

Job Summary

IO Setia Ventures (Kerteh, Terengganu) is looking for a dedicated and proactive Project Engineer to join our growing Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project execution from planning until completion, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys, hazard identification, and risk assessment.
• Prepare site survey reports and support engineering design activities.
• Plan project execution including scheduling, BOM preparation, and manpower allocation.
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, manufacturing, procurement) to ensure readiness of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Manage pre-mobilization activities including jobpack review, client approvals, logistics, and crew preparation.
• Monitor site execution to ensure compliance with SOP, PTW, safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and provide regular progress updates to client.
• Troubleshoot project issues and coordinate required resources.
• Manage demobilization and ensure completion of project documentation and reports.
• Ensure team compliance with HSE standards, training requirements, and PPE usage.
• Ensure equipment and tools are inspected and approved before use.
• Monitor materials and consumables to ensure suitability and validity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in project execution, site coordination, or related engineering environment (oil & gas / engineering industry is an advantage).
• Mechanical experience or exposure (internship/industrial attachment) is preferred.
• Basic understanding of engineering concepts and project management principles.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
