Job Purpose/Summary:To perform claim assessment based on the claims SOP and guideline. To achieve the KPI on the claim assessment.
Key responsibilities:
1. Claims Payments
- 100% payment vouchers are prepared within 2 working days for normal payment /24 hours for urgent payment from the last document received date.
- Follow up with Claims Handler to ensure claims payment approved within 2 working days from payment voucher creation date.
- Send payment request to Finance on daily basis before the cut off time for processing without omission.
- Payment journal adjustment done within 2 days TAT upon request.
- Ensure accuracy of data entry in payment processed.
Claims Assessment
- To perform claim assessment based on the claims SOP and guidelines.
- Achieve KPI on the claim assessment.
Accident & Health claims
- To assist the Manager and Supervisor on the administration, registration, assessment, update reserve, assessment reconciliation and any other task to achieve the Dept KPI.
2. Service Delivery
- Acting with a high degree of integrity, in ensuring compliance to all relevant standards, risk and regulations.
- Provide good claims service.
- Adhering closely to our service benchmark.
3. Productivity & reporting
- Ensure smooth management on the day to day operation of the portfolio assigned.
- Meeting productivity threshold.
- Monitor daily incoming cases to meet expected TAT.
- Consistent update of productivity tracker on daily basis.
- Prepare report and provide data to unit head as and when required.
- Satisfactory completion of additional tasks assigned by the unit head within agreed deadlines.
4. Respond to enquiry
- Attend and respond to enquiry within 2 working days / on the same day for urgent matter.
5. Compliance
- Ensure day to day business activities are compliant with the requirements of Group policies, guidelines procedures as well as local and other relevant laws and regulations.
6. Project & Process Improvement
- Participate and contribute in any project assigned by unit head.
- Participate in any testing requested by unit head.
- Contribute idea on any process improvement.
7. Training
- Attend all trainings (classroom or online) organized by HR or unit head to enhance soft skills and/or technical skills.
Pay: Up to RM2,000.00 per month
