Roles and Responsibilities

Descriptions of Duties:

· To support the Sr. Interface Engineer, Project Manager, Senior Engineering & Design Manager, Engineering Manager & ITC manager

· Follow System WPC interface Requirements - Interface Specification and ICD documentation.

· Responsible for technical interfacing, analyse, design and documentation.

· Responsible for Interface Management between different parties example. Civil, Power, Electric Trains, Facilities, Communications, Track works, technical interfaces and operational interfaces

· Follow Interface Checklists to ensure Technical and Operational information are exchanged between all the interface parties.

· Exchange Interface inputs to BIM Team.

· Design check on interface related issues in between different systems and update to Design Team.

· Attend the relevant Interface Meetings, including those related to CIP and TRIP.

· Station CSD SEM Review – S&TCS Equipments Arrangement and cable routing requirement within the station.

· Depot CSD SEM Review – S&TCS Equipments Arrangement and cable routing requirement within the depot.

· Underground CSD SEM Review – S&TCS Equipments Arrangement and cable routing requirement in underground.

· Viaduct CSD SEM Review - S&TC Equipments Arrangement and cable routing requirement.

· Produce Detail Report on the Interface issues and analyse with Interface Manager.

· Whenever required site inspection with other Interface parties during Access Handover.

Authority and Empowerment

· Signatories of Interface Control Document

· Signatories of CSD/SEM Drawings (S&TC WPC Column)

· Signatories of Site Access Handover Documents

Minimum Education, Skills and Experience

Education:

· Railway Systems Engineer and/or Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Civil & Mechanical Engineering

Skills/Qualifications:

· English language oral and in writing skills

· IRSE License Holder to Signalling Designer or Equivalent CV

Experience

· 2-3 Years’ Experience Railway Signalling Engineer

· System Interface management Experience

· Knowledge in designs, Installation & Testing

· Problem solving/decision making

· CAD literate in AUTO-CAD and Computer literacy

· Corporate member of IRSE and Member in BEM

· Report writing & Organisational skills

· ISO Knowledge & Auditing skills

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
