Job Title: Trade Development Specialist
Location: Petaling Jaya
Key Responsibilities:
Promoter Management
- Lead, coach, and supervise a team of promoters to meet performance standards.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and daily management of promoters.
- Ensure high-quality execution of merchandising, POSM deployment, reporting, and discipline.
- Audit reports via apps and dashboards to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Evaluate promoter performance regularly and take timely corrective actions to build a strong, agile team.
Merchandising & POSM Execution
- Plan and conduct regular store visits based on the master coverage plan.
- Ensure POSM is correctly placed, visible, updated, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Maintain strong in-store visibility and ensure displays remain in excellent condition.
Sales Performance (Sell-Out)
- Set clear sales objectives and guide promoters to achieve sell-out targets.
- Monitor and drive sales performance across assigned areas, channels, and roadshows.
- Ensure promotional mechanics are executed accurately and effectively.
- Implement and track sell-out programs, incentives, and promotional materials.
- Organize and execute in-store events or roadshows to enhance consumer engagement and conversion.
Reporting & Meetings
- Use apps for accurate reporting: check-ins, displays, planograms, POSM, inventory, pricing, and merchandising activities.
- Stay updated with real-time data and insights from app dashboards.
- Conduct weekly and monthly meetings with promoters to review performance and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with cross departments to assess market dynamics and competitor activities.
- Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, commissions, and market insights.
Training & Development
- Track training schedules and ensure promoters complete required learning modules.
- Review training reports to ensure continuous knowledge improvement.
- Support the ongoing development and skill enhancement of all team members.
Requirements:
- Experience managing promoters or field teams
- Strong Excel proficiency (PivotTables, formulas, data analysis)
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly
- Adaptability and willingness to respond quickly to market needs
- Experience in retail, FMCG, or consumer electronics
- Familiarity with reporting apps
- Experience running in-store activations or roadshows
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
