Accounts (Temporary – Maternity Cover)
Contract Period: June 2026 – November 2026 (6 months)
Basic Salary: RM1,700.00 per month
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive (Temporary – Maternity Cover) to support our Finance Department during the maternity cover period. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily accounting operations, cashflow management, and banking coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Accounting Operations
- Manage daily cashflow and ensure proper tracking of receipts and payments
- Handle credit control and follow up on outstanding collections
- Prepare and process payments including cheque issuance and online payments based on Payment Vouchers (PV)
- Monitor cheques sent for signing and ensure proper documentation control
- Manage supplier accounts and payments
Banking & Documentation
- Liaise with bankers and external parties on company banking matters
- Prepare banking documents including LC (Letter of Credit), BA (Bank Acceptance), IBC (Import Bills for Collection), and BG (Bank Guarantee)
Data & Reporting
- Maintain financial records and support data management and analysis
- Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvement
Administrative Support
- Act as alternate receptionist when required
- Support general finance and administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Prior experience in accounting/finance role is an advantage
- Good knowledge of basic accounting processes and banking documentation
- Strong attention to detail and well-organized
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Good communication skills for liaison with bankers, suppliers, and internal teams
Pay: RM1,700.00 per month
