STUDENT CARE ASSISTANT - PART TIME

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent.

· Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is an advantage.

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with children.

· Team player with a positive attitude.

· Basic first aid certification is a plus.

JOB DETAILS:

· Assist in supervising students during daily activities, including homework time, meals, and playtime.

· Ensure students' safety and well-being by maintaining a safe and structured environment.

· Provide assistance to students in completing homework and other educational tasks.

· Support the execution of enrichment activities, including games, arts and crafts, and educational programs.

· Engage students in group and individual activities to promote social and emotional development.

· Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies and promote positive student behaviour.

· Help address minor behavioural issues in alignment with the centre’s guidelines.

· Communicate with parents during drop-off and pick-up times, providing brief updates on their child’s progress and activities.

· Assist the Student Care Supervisor in coordinating information between parents, students, and staff.

· Help prepare and organize snacks, materials, and resources needed for daily activities.

· Ensure the student care area is clean and well-maintained at all times.

· Support the team in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

· Observe and report any incidents, accidents, or injuries to the Student Care Supervisor promptly.

· Assist in completing necessary incident reports and documentation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,800.00 per month
