Overview of Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations associated with the construction phase of the project, collaborating closely with M&E teams specializing in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients, project representatives, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth communication and compliance.
• Coordinate efforts among M&E engineers and coordinators to develop comprehensive plans and detailed specifications for all mechanical and electrical activities.
• Assess safety documentation to verify adherence to legal standards and organizational policies related to workplace safety and environmental management.
• Track project progress, evaluate performance metrics, and address any discrepancies or issues with appropriate corrective actions.
• Oversee the planning and execution of subcontractor activities, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
• Manage variations in M&E services and control associated costs to keep the project within financial targets.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a recognized degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering, or related fields.
• Bring a minimum of five years of experience managing building and construction projects, with a focus on M&E systems.
• Proficient in BIM modeling software and familiar with its application in project planning.
• Have a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, and fire safety systems.
• Well-versed in relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards governing M&E work.
• Excellent team collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse groups.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and making informed decisions.
