About the role

YOHIN FURNITURE & DESIGN SDN BHD' is seeking a talented and motivated Sales Assistant to join our team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As a full-time Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales for our furniture and design products.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them select the perfect furniture and design items to meet their needs

2. Demonstrating product features and benefits to customers, ensuring they understand the value proposition

3. Handling customer inquiries, orders, and payments in a timely and efficient manner

4. Collaborating with the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets

5. Maintaining a well-organised and visually appealing showroom to enhance the customer experience, clean the showroom once a week.

6. Staying up-to-date with the latest product information, design trends, and industry developments

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the furniture or home decor industry

2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively engage with customers

3. Excellent product knowledge and the ability to provide valuable insights and recommendations to customers

4. A keen eye for design and the ability to suggest complementary products to enhance the customer's vision

5. Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and other sales-related technology

6. A positive, enthusiastic, and customer-focused attitude
