Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Account Executive – Accounts Payable is responsible for managing and processing the organization’s payables with accuracy and efficiency. This role involves handling vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. The Account Executive serves as a key liaison between the company and external vendors, ensuring effective communication and resolution of any discrepancies. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Process vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Verify invoice approvals, PO matching, and correct coding of expenses.
  • Prepare and execute payment runs (cheques, transfers, online banking).
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintain updated vendor files and records.
  • Monitor aging reports and ensure timely payments to avoid penalties or service disruptions.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software - NetSuites
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
