Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

Project Execution

  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
  • Coordinate and lead project team meetings.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.

Budget Management

  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during the project cycle.
  • Manage project budget and ensure cost efficiency.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management within the interior design, architecture, construction industry, or M&E industry.
  • Strong understanding of the interior design process and materials.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., *************, Asana) and design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience managing high-end residential or commercial projects.Familiarity with procurement platforms and vendor negotiation.Knowledge of sustainable design practices and material sourcing.Experience in handling GLC(s) and Government Tender project

Pay: From RM2,700.00 per month
