We are looking for an experienced Trade Marketing Manager to lead trade marketing strategies that drive brand growth, maximize retail visibility, and strengthen partnerships with distributors and retailers. This role requires a balance of strategic planning, creative execution, and data-driven decision-making to ensure our brand achieves strong presence and measurable sales impact at the trade level.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement annual and quarterly trade marketing plans aligned with brand and business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for trade promotions, merchandising, and partnerships to drive incremental sales.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform trade strategies.
- Set KPIs and benchmarks to measure effectiveness of trade marketing programs.
Trade Campaigns & Execution
- Plan and oversee in-store promotions, product launches, events, and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
- Manage design and deployment of POS materials, merchandising displays, and promotional assets.
- Ensure consistency of brand messaging and creative execution across all trade initiatives.
- Coordinate with sales teams and retail partners to ensure seamless campaign implementation.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor junior trade marketing staff, providing guidance on campaign planning, execution, and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with brand marketing, sales, and distribution teams to ensure alignment of trade programs with overall business strategy.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key trade partners and distributors for marketing initiatives.
Analysis & Reporting
- Track, measure, and report on trade marketing campaign performance and ROI.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving campaign effectiveness.
- Monitor budget utilization and ensure cost efficiency for all trade marketing activities.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support cross-functional projects such as seasonal campaigns, co-marketing initiatives, and new product launches.
- Develop and maintain trade marketing guidelines, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
- Represent the brand in trade forums, events, and meetings with partners to enhance relationships and market presence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years in trade marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of retail environments, trade marketing strategies, and brand activation.
- Proven experience in managing campaigns, budgets, and cross-functional projects.
- Strong leadership, project management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Data-driven with strong analytical skills to assess campaign performance and optimize ROI.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with marketing analytics tools is a plus.
