Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with strong experience in Java and/or Kotlin development to design, develop, and support enterprise applications and system enhancements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in full software development lifecycle activities, including solution design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering scalable, high-quality solutions, performing code reviews, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and ensuring system stability and performance. Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications and system enhancements using Java and/or Kotlin.
• Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and system quality requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Support application deployment, release activities, and post-production support independently.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and implementation details.
• Identify opportunities for system optimization, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while adapting to evolving business and technical requirements.

Job Requirements

• Possess a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in system development.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Have experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and familiarity with AWS infrastructure and cloud deployment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to design, implement solution, and perform code review independently.
• Able to provide production support independently.
• Agile, fast learner and able to adapt to changes.

Pay: $6,000.00 - $6,900.00 per month
