Position : Software Specialist

Salary : RM 3,000 - RM 4,500

Location : Desa Aman Puri, Kepong

Working Days : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Specialist to design, customize, and enhance software solutions based on customer requirements. The role involves working closely with Application Support and R&D teams to deliver high-quality, tailored solutions and ensure strong customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain customized software solutions based on customer requirements
• Engage with customers to gather requirements and propose suitable technical solutions
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including customization specifications and system notes
• Develop and manage test data for system testing, validation, and release activities
• Support product demonstrations for both new and existing customers
• Collaborate with R&D and internal teams on system enhancements, bug fixes, and improvements
• Provide L1/L2 support, including troubleshooting, issue analysis, and data correction when required
• Contribute to improving software quality and testing processes through continuous feedback and collaboration
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in software development, support, or customization
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience in software testing and SQL
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Knowledge of web servers, virtual machines (VM), or ISO standards is an advantage
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
