Responsibilities
1. Accounting Functions
Maintain a full set of accounts including AP, AR, and General Ledger.
Prepare and record journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow.
Process supplier payments and customer invoices.
2. Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
Assist in preparing profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Ensure financial records comply with accounting standards and company policies.
3. Budgeting & Financial Planning
Assist management in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Monitor company expenses and analyze financial performance.
Provide financial insights for cost control and decision making.
4. Tax & Compliance
Handle tax filing, SST/GST, and statutory submissions (depending on country).
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and banks.
5. Administrative & Financial Support
Maintain proper financial documentation and records.
Support management with financial analysis and reporting.
Assist in internal audits and financial reviews.
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Good skills in Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
