Full Time PROJECT ENGINEER Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,500 in Gamalux Oils Sabah - Maukerja

Plan, execute and monitor CAPEX projects, plant expansion and upgrading projects.

Coordinate project activities involving civil, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation works.

Review engineering drawings, P&IDs, layouts, technical specifications and project proposals.

Supervise installation, commissioning and startup of plant equipment and utilities.

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors and internal departments for project execution.

Monitor project schedule, cost control, progress reporting and resource utilization.

Support process improvement initiatives for refinery, solvent extraction and utility systems.

Troubleshoot technical and operational issues during project implementation.

Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, environmental regulations and company standards.

Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and project progress meetings.

Prepare project documentation including budgets, reports, method statements and handover documents.

Assist in procurement activities including technical evaluation, material requisition and contractor scope review.

Support energy efficiency, sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure all projects comply with quality standards, statutory requirements and plant operational needs.

Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 3–5 years relevant experience in project engineering, preferably in palm oil processing, refinery, oleochemical, or manufacturing industries.

Knowledge in plant equipment, utilities systems, project execution and process engineering.

Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera and engineering documentation.

Knowledge in HAZOP, risk assessment and industrial safety requirements is an added advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and project coordination skills.

Good communication and report writing skills.

Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Experience

Experience in solvent extraction plant, refinery or tank farm projects.

Exposure in plant expansion, commissioning and process optimization projects.

Knowledge in renewable energy feedstock or palm oil downstream industry is an advantage.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
