Lead Automation Tester / QA (Remote)

Location & Work Arrangement

• Remote / Work from home position
• Must be based in Klang Valley to attend one team meeting per week

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation testing frameworks within a Typescript-based ecosystem
• Implement a range of automated testing approaches including visual regression testing,

API contract testing, REST API testing, black box testing etc.

• Lead and mentor two junior QA engineers, guiding their transition towards automation testing and fostering a strong, automation-focused QA culture within the team

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing automation testing strategies, optimizing, and scaling test coverage
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer, etc.
• Early career experience as a software engineer or hands-on automation experience in start-ups, scale-ups, or smaller QA/testing teams where you implemented automation best practices
