Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily cashier operations and ensure smooth checkout processes
• Ensure sufficient counters are open to reduce customer waiting time
• Plan cashier manpower deployment based on store traffic and peak hours
• Manage cash float and ensure sufficient change is available for transactions
• Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure accurate cash reconciliation
• Oversee cashier shift handover, X-read, and Z-read processes
• Ensure all cash remittances are accurate and properly documented
• Coordinate bank cash collection and resolve discrepancies if any
• Train and guide cashiers to ensure proper POS operation and service standards
• Monitor cashier performance and ensure compliance with company procedures
• Assist in implementing store promotions related to cashier operations
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback at the checkout area
• Prepare and submit cashier-related reports to the management or Accounts Department
• Ensure the Point of Sales (POS) system is properly controlled and used
• Perform other duties assigned by management when required

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM / Diploma
• Experience as a cashier or cashier supervisor is an advantage
• Strong numerical and cash handling skills
• Basic knowledge of POS systems
• Good leadership and team management skills
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Responsible, trustworthy, and detail-oriented

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
