Full Time Junior Engineer - DevOps Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,000 in Nippon Koei Mobility Sdn.Bhd. Selangor - Maukerja

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and a keen interest in AI-driven DevOps (AIOps) and automation.

This role goes beyond traditional infrastructure and CI/CD. You will design and build intelligent, self-optimizing DevOps pipelines, leveraging modern automation tools and AI technologies. You will also have opportunities for continuous learning and cloud certifications.

You will work closely with engineering, data, security, and product teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1) Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure multi-cloud platforms (AWS & GCP)
• Architect cloud environments with best practices in networking, IAM, and security
• Manage services such as:
• Compute: EC2, ECS, EKS, GKE, Cloud Run
• Storage: S3, EBS, Cloud Storage
• Databases: Athena, BigQuery, Cloud SQL
• Optimize performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to improve backend processing (Python, parallel processing)

2) CI/CD & Release Engineering

• Build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS SAM, etc.)
• Automate build, testing, security scanning, and deployments
• Implement deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, progressive releases)
• Support microservices, containerized, and serverless architectures

3) AI-Driven DevOps & Automation (Core Focus)

• Implement AIOps solutions for monitoring, anomaly detection, and incident management
• Enable:
• Intelligent alerting and monitoring
• Predictive autoscaling and capacity planning
• Automated remediation and rollback
• Integrate and build solutions using:
• APIs and SaaS platforms
• No-code/low-code AI tools
• LLM-based automation (e.g., AI agents)

4) Security, Compliance & Governance

• Implement SSO (AWS Cognito) and manage IAM roles
• Enforce cloud security best practices (least privilege, zero trust, segmentation)
• Support compliance (ISO, SOC 2, GDPR where applicable)

5) Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
• Contribute to architecture design and technical roadmap
• Promote an automation-first and AI-driven culture
• Participate in innovation initiatives, hackathons, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Fresh graduates with strong full-stack experience are welcome to apply
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps / Full Stack (for senior candidates)
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, DeepSeek)
• Solid understanding of:
• CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows
• Linux systems, networking, and containers
• Proficiency in:
• Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL
• Frontend frameworks (React, Next.js) is a plus
• Experience with LLMs or AI automation in DevOps is an advantage.
