About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Compliance Manager to support the company’s regulatory compliance framework across MAS licenses such as Capital Markets Services, Exempt Financial Adviser, and Major Payment Institution. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with MAS regulations and internal risk governance standards. You will directly report to the Head of Compliance and play an important role in shaping the company’s policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the company’s compliance framework in accordance with the Securities and Futures Act (“SFA”), Payment Services Act (“PSA”), and other applicable laws and regulations.
• Create and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Conduct compliance procedures such as monitoring and reviews across onboarding, transaction monitoring, trade surveillance, and name screening.
• Assist in regulatory submissions, audits, inspections, and responses to MAS or other stakeholders.
• Provide compliance advisory support on regulatory developments, as well as to business teams on new initiatives.
• Perform risk assessments and gap analyses to identify regulatory or operational risks.
• Support investigations relating to suspicious activities, escalations, and compliance incidents.
• Perform ad-hoc projects and assignments, as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in capital markets and payment services.
• Familiarity with MAS regulations, including PSA, SFA, and Financial Advisers Act
• Experience in trade surveillance and/or exposure to the digital payment token environment will be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving regulatory environment.
