Role Overview:

As an Intern Civil Engineer at Godeco Services Sdn Bhd, you will gain hands-on experience in both site execution and project operations. You will work closely with the Operation Manager to support overall project coordination, documentation, and logistical planning, while also assisting site engineers in day-to-day construction activities. This internship is ideal for students who wish to understand the full scope of a project lifecycle—from planning and budgeting to site supervision and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Intern Civil Engineer:

• Assist the Operation Manager in tracking project schedules, material orders, and contractor coordination.
• Support documentation tasks such as filing project reports, purchase orders, and site records.
• Assist in supervising site works and ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Support the project team in planning daily activities and preparing work progress updates.
• Attend site visits and meetings, record observations, and assist in preparing progress reports.
• Help coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and workers to ensure smooth site execution.
• Perform basic technical tasks such as site measurements, material inspections, and simple calculations.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Project and Operation Manager, including follow-ups and report preparation.
• Carry out any ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a diploma, degree, or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of construction methods, structural elements, and engineering principles.
• Familiar with construction drawings, documentation processes, and site safety practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); knowledge of AutoCAD or MS Project is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask between technical and operational support.
• Responsible, organized, and eager to learn in both field and office environments.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: RM700.00 - RM950.00 per month
