Full Time VMware Engineer Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,000 in FIT PIONEER RESOURCES SDN BHD Federal Territory - Maukerja

We are seeking a skilled VMware Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VMware technologies, with expertise in managing and troubleshooting VMware ESX and related environments. As a VMware Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of virtualized infrastructures using VMware solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain VMware ESX/ESXi virtualized environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot VMware vSphere, vCenter Server, and VMware Horizon environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of virtualization solutions.
• Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and version management for VMware platforms.
• Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and security of VMware environments.
• Provide technical support for VMware-related incidents and issues.
• Document VMware infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning for VMware-based environments.
• Maintain Windows and Linux operating systems in virtualized environments

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Programming, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience with VMware technologies (ESX, vSphere, vCenter, etc.).

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of VMware ESX/ESXi and related VMware technologies.
• Proficiency in managing and supporting Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with virtualization tools, networking, and storage technologies.
• Familiarity with VMware vCloud Suite, VMware vSAN, and VMware NSX is a plus.

Skills:

• Excellent analytical and technical aptitude.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP, or similar) are highly desirable.
• Experience with automation and scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and hybrid cloud environments is a plus

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
