Job Summary

We are looking for a Software Tester with 1–3 years of experience in System Integration Testing (SIT), Functional Testing, and Regression Testing to ensure software quality and successful system implementation. The candidate will work closely with product owners, developers, IT application teams, and business stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform System Integration Testing (SIT), Functional Testing, and Regression Testing for applications and system enhancements.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
• Validate software functionality and ensure systems meet product requirements and quality standards.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and other Agile/Scrum activities to understand project scope and changes.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, IT Application Teams, and Business Stakeholders during testing activities.
• Execute and record test cases according to project test plans.
• Perform SQL/database validation and verify system logs to validate technical test results.
• Use JIRA for defect tracking, test management, reporting, and documentation.
• Upload and maintain all related testing artefacts and reports in JIRA or designated repositories.
• Track, retest, and escalate defects when necessary.
• Prepare test data required for SIT and regression testing activities.
• Analyse and report testing activities, defects, and test results to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot testing issues and improve testing procedures where applicable.
• Detect software defects, bugs, and system inefficiencies.
• Provide post-implementation support and verification after deployment.
• Ensure testing accuracy, completeness, and quality for smooth implementation.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Experience in: System Integration Testing (SIT), Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Defect Tracking & Reporting, Test Case Preparation, Test Script Development & Execution
• Hands-on experience with: JIRA, SQL / Database Validation, Test Management Tools
• Familiar with: Agile / Scrum Methodology, SDLC & STLC Processes

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• ISTQB certification is an added advantage.
