Position : Software Engineer (C# .NET)

Salary : RM 3,500 – RM 6,000

Location : Damansara Uptown, PJ

Working Hours : Monday - Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm)

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer (C# .NET) to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and applications. This role focuses on building reliable APIs, improving system performance, and supporting end-to-end software development to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using C# and .NET / .NET Core
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services
• Improve system performance, scalability, and security across applications
• Work with MS SQL and Firebird databases for development, optimization, and maintenance
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system issues in a timely manner
• Maintain and modernize legacy systems while ensuring smooth system integration
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Strong experience in C# and .NET / .NET Core development
• Solid experience in RESTful API and backend system development
• Proficiency in MS SQL with strong knowledge of query optimization; experience with Firebird is an advantage
• Good understanding of software design patterns and system architecture principles
• Experience with Git version control and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
