About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Account Executive to manage full set accounts and support the financial operations of our retail business and subsidiary companies.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and providing insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including AP, AR, General Ledger, and financial statements
• Manage financial matters for subsidiary companies, including consolidation and intercompany transactions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review
• Perform financial analysis, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support tax filings and audits
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate cash flow records
• Monitor expenses and ensure alignment with budget
• Continuously improve accounting processes and ensure compliance with company policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience handling full set accounts
• Experience managing subsidiary accounts / group consolidation is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting
• Familiar with accounting software / ERP systems
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Professional certifications (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) are an added advantage

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
